GJKKO has accepted SPAK's request to summon 71 witnesses, including Shkëlzen Berisha and Aldo Bumçi, regarding the Gërdec tragedy.

Meanwhile, after taking this decision, the lawyer of Fatmir Mediu, Ardian Visha, emphasized in an appearance for the media after the session that the court acted with double standards by not accepting the request to call the witnesses proposed by them. According to Visha, this is an unfair and blindly taken and unfair by the court.

" Regarding the witnesses and evidence requested from us, the court decided that it will decide. This is a double standard. Blindly approving as the prosecution coincides and reluctant to approve and not prove what we ask. This is unfair. In the list of our witnesses we have a major reason for which we called these witnesses and on this basis the right to call them all should be given and not with exceptions.
