Sali Berisha's lawyer, Sokol Mêngjesi, fell prey to violence this morning in the capital.
The event took place in the area of Ish Bllok in Tirana at 08:50.
Three still unidentified people have punched Sokol Mêngjesi, who is one of the lawyers of the former prime minister.
The morning is in the hospital where he is receiving medical help, while the Police have started investigations. Although the exact reason for this serious attack is not known, it is suspected that the violence against the lawyer was caused by the conflict due to property reasons.
Sokol Mêngjesi had just sent the child to kindergarten when it is suspected that people ambushed him and raped him.
"Today, around 8:50 a.m., in the area of the former Block in Tirana, still unidentified persons hit the citizen SM, a lawyer by profession.
The injured person was immediately sent to the hospital for medical assistance and is under the care of doctors. His health condition is normal.
The Local Directorate of the Tirana Police and the structures of the State Police are committed to identifying and apprehending the perpetrators," the police announced.
