GJKKO has accepted SPAK's request to stop the investigations into PD deputy Bledion Nallbati, who punched Vullnet Sina during the parliamentary session.
Nallbati was accused of the crime of 'hitting due to duty'.
" The applicant, the Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime, on 23.09.2024, submitted to the Court the request with the object: "Dismissal of criminal proceedings No. 230 of 2023, for the criminal offense of "Assault due to duty" provided for by Article 237 of the Criminal Code.
2. At the end of the trial, the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime with a panel composed of judge Bib Ndreca, based on articles 328/1/b, 329/a, 329/be following of K. Criminal Pr., with decision No. 115, dated 28.10.2024, decided:
1. Acceptance of the request of the Special Prosecution against Corruption and Organized Crime, dismissal of the case registered according to criminal procedure No. 230 of 2023.
2. An appeal against the decision is allowed in the Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime, within 15 days from the day after the communication of this decision. Tirana, on October 28, 2024, the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime" - announces SPAK.
