Greece warned of blocking borders, traffic jams at the customs of Kapshtica

After the announcement of the blocking of border points starting from Tuesday morning, a large number of citizens have flocked to move towards Greece.

It is reported that an increased flow of vehicles has been observed at the border point of Kapshtica. Long queues of cars, waiting to enter Greece.

While at the Kakavijë border crossing point, which is also the largest land customs in the south of the country, the situation today is calm.

The lowering of the beam by the Greek customs for 48 hours as a result of the announced strike has not affected the increase in the movements of the citizens, except for a slight increase only for trucks.

For the next 48 hours, this customs office will also operate according to the official notification of the Greek side, where only pedestrians without luggage or emergency ones will be allowed to cross the border.

During the last 24 hours, a total of 4,141 citizens were registered at the Kakavija customs, of which 1,708 were entering and 2,433 were exiting.
