Journalist Arian Çani spoke about his life, but also about his very long television career, while also sharing his opinion on how politicians should be seen.
He said that he has respect for political people, while adding that their ambition intrigues them. Furthermore, he states that it is not right that political people are only insulted, according to Çani, the "metamorphosis" that they undergo should first be seen in them.
"I have a lot of respect for these people. They are an example for society. It is very easy to insult them. "Hoi polloi" (crowds of people) on social networks, these are just cursing, some are staged, some have problems with themselves. They curse the whole world. I am against them, I will always protect them. Because they are very tired to get where they are. It's not that easy. Try it once if you wanted, try to become prime minister, try to become president, try to see what knives and mines you find on that road there.
We take it "oh no, these are thieves and corrupt", leave that part for once and look at the human part, how they got there. I'm interested in the human part, I'm interested in ambition. Among ambitious people, there are those who trespass on the street, put their hands in and steal things, there are those who manage to trespass but are not caught, and there are those who do not steal anything. I don't care about this part because I don't do investigative journalism, what always intrigues me is the ambition, whether they manage to realize their dream or not", said Arian Çani in "Interview" in Euronews Albania.
