This Sunday, the State Police took into custody the prosecutor of SPAK, Doloresa Musabelliu, immediately after the repentant Artan Tafani confessed that the leader of the group, Laert Haxhiu, had planned to eliminate her or a relative. The prosecutor of the strong cases in SPAK, most recently the massacre of the Vajgurore bridge, was targeted by the strongmen of Lushnja, after she demanded life imprisonment for two of Haxhiu's friends, Orges Bilbili and Anterio Kaloshin.
Very reliable sources told TCH that the family of prosecutor Musabelliu was taken under special protection, for which protection was requested from the police by the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani. Until now, two women judges and prosecutor Musabelliu have been taken into special custody by this special structure against organized crime.
Meanwhile, the prosecutor of Lushnja, Merita Selimi, is also mentioned in the confession, who, after conducting the investigations for the Lushnja group, declared her incompetence and handed over the SPAK file. Currently, she is dismissed from the first level of vetting, but continues to have the status of a magistrate as long as the appeal is not expressed. A Decision of the Council of Ministers number 114, states that in case of danger to the prosecutor's life, the KLP commission meets to decide on his special protection.
But this preservation must be requested in writing by the magistrate, the General Director of Police or the Director of Prosecution. If the prosecutor of Lushnja will seek protection, Merita Selimi said on the phone to TCH: "Please do not comment on this fact". In the meantime, you have been dismissed from the vetting, do you feel scared as a prosecutor? "I am not bothered by the fact that they took photos of the girl," said the prosecutor.
Currently under protection are seven prosecutors of the General Jurisdiction who have received protection from the KLP. Meanwhile, the repentant admitted that the group had planned to kill the lawyer Adriatik Guri, who escaped the assassination attempt two years ago.
"I heard my name on TV, the General Director mentioned it. But I haven't received any. Not even the Lushnja police station where I live. I feel scared. If they want to kill us, let them kill us", said the lawyer./TCH
