Teacher Lush Susaj spoke before the protesters at the Prime Minister's Office, analyzing the figures of the decline in the number of pupils and students in schools, as well as accusing the government of corruption and attacks on the Albanian family.
He declared that popular resistance cannot be stopped by the maneuvers of power and called for rejecting propaganda.
" This is the people's protest and it doesn't go into your pocket, there are 7 million Albanians in protest and who don't want this government. The dirty work they are doing with intimidation and the dirty propaganda of the most corrupt government in Europe will end! Don't listen to the propaganda! They have stolen our funds and we are in pieces with infrastructure even though Europe has given billions ," Susaj said.
Further, the lecturer focused specifically on the situation in the education system and the reasons that, according to him, have led to the massive departure of young people from the country.
"They have hit us in the heart and spinal cord, they have hit us in Albanian schools. Today we only have 115 thousand students. It has dropped by 35%. No world war has done this to Albania! The number of students in schools has dropped, the number of graduates has dropped by 50% from 13 years ago! Why did this happen? Because this dirty and traitorous government massacred the Albanian family in property, in judicial rights, in health care, in environmental standards, in security! Find me somewhere else where youth has been massacred like in Albania!", he said in his speech.
