Lawyer Spartak Ngjela declares that Himara is not a minority area but is the center of Labaria.
In an interview for "Mes two worlds", lawyer Spartak Ngjela says that Greeks have always feared Labëria.
" I was told by my friends who are minorities here that Himara is not a minority, it is the center of Labesë. Minorities who are known to be of Greek origin told me a lawyer, I remember one thing: -"They don't care about us at all in Greece. They have all their thoughts on Himara". Himara is not a minority. It has been their centuries-old dream because it is Labëria. They were very afraid of Labëria. I don't know what happened, but Himara is the center of Labëria, those who say we are minorities there, they have a neighborhood, they are newcomers. You don't know what Greek they spoke, half Greek half Albanian. Even now that they went there, they still can't speak because they are lepers ," he said.
Ngjela also shows a conversation with Gjon Shllak, who translated the Iliad. Ngjela says that Greek is Albanian Albanian.
" Gjon Shllaku came to me, he had translated the Iliad. I was at the Institute. -"I translated the Iliad from Albanian to Albanian". Talking to Gjon Shllaku I understood, Gjon told me:- "Old Greek was Geganish." That German is an old language here. The modern language we have now has been around for a thousand years. She comes from Illyria ", declares Ngjela.
