The Tirana court has released the four protesters arrested following the Democratic Party protest held on December 22 in front of the prime minister's office.
The court imposed the security measure "compulsory appearance" on them, a measure that had also been requested by the Prosecutor.
Several Democratic Party MPs, including Klevis Balliu, Flamur Noka and Bledjon Nallbati, had also come to support the protesters.
The police announced a day earlier that they had arrested 4 protesters after throwing Molotov cocktails and opposing the blue uniforms, and 7 others were prosecuted. The police also said that they had launched an investigation into Ervin Minarolli, the organizational secretary of the Democratic Party political entity.
Three police officers were injured in the protest and received treatment in hospital, as well as an opposition sympathizer who was engulfed in flames from the fuel.
