Besiana Kadare has chosen a poem written by her late father to commemorate him on the day he passed away.

The poem is titled "Insufficient Time", which Besiana has decided to publish on social networks.

The colossus of Albanian literature passed away today at the age of 88.

Insufficient time

I don't have time to forget many things

From the mind you take forever.

For old tragedies and flashbacks

It will take me at least two years.

And perhaps as much for Dante,

For the French land with the beaches as well,

Maybe the women I'll be deleting

When dusk will approach by then.

Like the overweight traveler

Before the plane leaving shortly

Still heavily loaded

I will approach the grave of the lost.

How can I take this burden off my shoulders?

Where do I put this weight, how?

I can't go down there with him

But I can never leave it up there either.

Thought until the last moment

From old age, from tragic hostage

A possibly incomprehensible sign

I'll make you all go away.
