54-year-old Agron Puka was injured in an assassination attempt on Wednesday morning in Rrilë i Lezha. The perpetrators, who according to the data were at least 4, assassinated him as soon as he left his children at the village school.
The barrage of bullets endangered students and teachers at the school just a few meters from the scene. The attack is being investigated in several tracks!
Regarding this event, the former senior head of the State Police, Arben Hajdarmataj, in an interview in the news studio at "Ora News", stated that it is terrible that the event takes place in front of children.
"It is a serious event due to the fact that firearms were used and the environment where it took place is a very sensitive environment, i.e. a school environment, and in addition to what was foreseen, children or teachers could also be injured.
It is also very serious that such attacks happen in front of children, where fortunately we have no victims. If it was a possible previous conflict, without a doubt, the leaders of the State Police are responsible.
But at the moment when it comes to a previous conflict, where is the police to make it possible to prevent this conflict, which is thought and rumored by the media to be a conflict between 3-4 people.
Secondly, how is it possible that weapons are so easily found and used in these premises near schools?! Where is the security? Admittedly, conflict can happen, but the situation and the possession of weapons near school premises is more serious than the assassination itself", said Hajdarmataj, among other things.
