An activist from Dukat has proposed the creation of a National Assembly of activists during the protest held in front of the Prime Minister's Office, calling for the unification of all civic groups in a common forum, outside the influence of political parties.
Speaking to thousands of protesters gathered in Tirana, he stressed the need to maintain the unity of the movement and avoid divisions that, according to him, could weaken the civic cause.
"My heart aches when I see you so many and united. We have had many debates as activists. To save the protest, we need to have a forum, to gather all the activist groups. We cannot allow the protest to be divided ," he declared.
The activist proposed the establishment of a national table where all activist groups would be represented, with the aim of establishing rules of communication and coordination between them.
According to him, political parties, whether old or new, should not be involved in this initiative, so that the protest maintains its civic and independent character.
"Let's not underestimate this point. Let's establish a National Assembly, together, apart from political parties or those forces that seem new, but are not what they seem. I ask everyone not to stop the protest, come join us all, united until victory for the future of our children," he said.
His speech was met with applause and ovations from the protesters, while the organizers have warned that the protests will continue in the coming days.
