The Police Supervision Agency has cracked down on a suspected illegal activity in the field of gambling and sports betting, during an operation codenamed "Basti i Fundit", conducted this Monday, July 7, 2026.
According to the official announcement of the AMP, the operation was carried out based on information provided by the Agency's Operational Intelligence structures. As part of it, a search was carried out on the premises of a bar-cafe owned by a citizen with the initials AS, in the area known as "Tregu Fshatar", near Fushë-Krujë.
During the search, AMP officers seized four electronic computer devices, suspected of being used for illegal gambling, four monitors, as well as server equipment and other technological elements, which were suspected of serving for the organization and development of illegal sports betting.
The Agency informs that the competent structures have initiated the first investigative and procedural actions for the full legal documentation of the suspected activity, the identification of the persons involved, as well as the verification of any possible case of favoritism, inaction or involvement by State Police employees or other entities that are within the scope of AMP's supervision.
According to the announcement, investigations are continuing to fully uncover the suspected illegal activity, determine individual responsibilities, and hold every person involved legally accountable.

Today, on 07.07.2026, the Police Supervision Agency (AMP), within the framework of the coded operation "Basti i Fundit", based on information provided by the Agency's Operational Intelligence structures, has conducted a search of the premises of a bar-cafe owned by citizen AS, in the place called "Tregu Fshatar", near Fushë-Krujë.
During the search conducted in these premises, the following were found and seized as material evidence:
– 4 electronic computer devices, suspected of being used for the illegal practice of gambling;
– 4 monitors;
– server equipment and other technological elements, suspected of being used for the organization and practice of illegal sports betting.
The competent structures of the AMP are carrying out the first investigative and procedural actions for the complete legal documentation of the suspected illegal activity, the identification of the persons involved in its organization and exercise, as well as the verification of any possible case of favoritism, inaction or involvement by employees of the State Police or other entities within the scope of the Agency's activities.
Investigations continue for the complete documentation of the illegal activity, the determination of individual responsibilities and the legal accountability of each person involved.
