The special prosecutor's office is investigating suspicions of tender abuses at the time when Lleshaj headed the Ministry of the Interior.
The former Minister of the Interior, Sandër Lleshaj, has been summoned to the special prosecution against corruption and organized crime.
According to information, Lleshaj was summoned as a person who has knowledge of a case under investigation by SPAK. He was kept for more than 1 hour in SPAK.

It is worth noting that one of the problematic tenders of the time when Sandër Lleshaj was the Minister of the Interior, that of police uniforms. For this case, in March of 2020, former MPs Myslim Murrizi and Halit Valteri filed a complaint with the Special Prosecutor's Office (SPAK) regarding the tender of the Ministry of the Interior for police uniforms.
In the accusation made by former MP Murrizi at the time, it was said that in the tender for police uniforms, about 239 thousand items were reduced, while the value of the tender has not changed. So there is a possibility that the former minister was summoned for this report.
