Former President Bamir Topi, during the tributes held in honor of Servet Pëllumbi, praised the figure and contribution of the former Speaker of the Parliament, who passed away the day before.
Topi stated that Pëllumbi was one of the most balanced voices in Albanian politics and within the Socialist Party, also describing him as a reformer and one of the best people with whom he has collaborated in politics.
"I want to express my condolences to the family. I got to know Professor Pëllumbi during my political activity. Rest assured that it comes as an internal conviction and contacts, he was one of the most balanced voices, not only in politics in general, but within the Socialist Party. A reformer. There is a lot to talk about Professor Pëllumbi. He is one of the best men I have had the opportunity to collaborate with in politics!", said Topi.
