Journalists Ola Xama and Klodiana Lala, invited to the show "The Unexposed" on MCN TV, have given details about some Italian citizens involved in the Tirana incinerator case.
According to Lala, Italian citizens have recently oriented SPAK towards the Municipality of Tirana.
Excerpts from the conversation:
Ylli Rakipi: Ms. Xama, you interviewed Gabrielle Tarroni Longinotti for your show and he said that Erion Veliaj, together with Giuseppe Ciafagglione and Milaid Lopa, had dinner and drank coffee. Ciafagglione owns 20% of the Tirana incinerator. Why does Veliajn dine and stay in his company?
Ola Xama: It is an interview that will be broadcast on Thursday. He says that the meeting was at a bar and then at a restaurant, it was related to some aid for the earthquake. Milaid Lopa was Tarroni's driver, he also appears as a representative of Integrated Energy and Geogenix in Harare, Zimbabwe. When I asked him what his connection is with Presec, he said that they are presta nome, so if someone has to go to prison, they will go.
Klodiana Lala: It's not just at dinner. In the investigation about the Tirana incinerator, when Ciafagglione was asked, all Italian citizens talk about the office and constant contact with the Municipality of Tirana. Who was the contact person? They were asked and Ciafagglione said that he was in contact with the Municipality. Why should an Italian businessman, who was only an administrator, go to the City Hall, when he was not a contracting authority? It is the Italians who are presta nome, but they have directed the investigation recently, in the direction of the Municipality of Tirana.
Ola Xama: They have not taken over anything.
Klodiana Lala: The Municipality of Tirana has been a permanent station for the issue of the Tirana incinerator. It is a way that SPAK has chosen as a strategy to go higher, through the seizure of phones and documents.
