Lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu stated that Investigative Commissions are an important instrument of the minority in developed democracies such as the USA, Italy or Britain.
In an interview for the show "Top Story", Spahiu said that canceling the Investigative Commission in our country is a constitutional violation.
However, he added that recently the Commissions had lost their function and that they were being used politically.
"Commissions of Inquiry in the practices of the American Congress and the Italian or British Parliament, the most important standard of democracy or the instrument of the minority are the Commissions of Inquiry. They are permanent permanent for issues that are considered of public interest.
This is a violation of the constitutional right, the cancellation of the Investigative Commission. I have seen Rama a couple of times in the dock. The majority has misused this.
The adjudicated cases cannot be overlapped, the Assembly cannot be one above the court. In 34 years, out of 100 Investigative Commissions, there were only two successful commissions. As a whole, they have failed and have been used politically. It is not possible for every construction permit to lead to Commissions of Inquiry. We need a standard, it cannot be without limit" , said Kreshnik Spahiu.
