One of the residents affected by the fire that engulfed a building near the QSUT has told the media about the consequences of the flames in his apartment. He says he has lost everything and that he was unable to return to see the damage up close.
His apartment was on the fourth floor and, according to him, everything inside was destroyed. He adds that the apartment was purchased two years ago and was the only property he had in the capital.
The resident says that after the incident he was left outside, as he had no other place to stay. He also expresses concern about the fact that he was not allowed to enter the apartment to see the situation.
"My house burned down, on the fourth floor. I bought it for 150 thousand euros two years ago. With all the equipment inside, it has become a complete fire and no one will let me enter my house without seeing it. I spent the night outside. I am from Dibra, I have no home here. Leave us alone now. We did not take any risks," he said.
