Eglantina Osmanlli will be the state administrator who will manage the seized assets of former prime minister Sali Berisha's son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltez.
After the decision of GJKKO to seize the assets of Jamarbër Malltez, the Agency for the Administration of Seized and Confiscated Assets has appointed the state administrator who will be responsible for their management.
According to a document made public, Osmanlli was appointed by the agency for the administration of seized and confiscated assets.
With the decision of October 24, 2023, Eglantina Osmanlli has been appointed to administer the quotas that are in the name of Jamarbë Malltez in three companies specifically;
45% of the share capital of the company Homeplan sh.pk
100% of the share capital of Magnet IMO sh.pk
60% of the share capital of the company Magnet Gym&Fit
On October 20, 2023, based on the request dated October 15, 2023 of the Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime in Tirana, the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime in Tirana decided the property insurance measure "preventive seizure", for 16 (sixteen) immovable property owned by citizen JM, 6 (six) bank accounts (in euros, dollars and lek) in the name of Jamarbër Malltez as well as the share capital owned by Malltez in the companies "Homeplan" shpk (45% of quotas), "Magnet IMO" shpk (100% of quotas) and "Magnet Gym&Fit (60% of quotas).
We remind you that Jamarbër Malltezi was arrested on October 21 at Rinas airport after being accused of passive corruption with his father-in-law, former prime minister Sali Berisha, and money laundering with the builder Fatmir Bektashi in the affair of the privatization of the former Partizani complex, which was then followed by the construction of 19 towers.
