An Albanian in the State Department, Valbona Zeneli, takes the top job

Researcher Valbona Zeneli has been selected to serve as a coordinator at the Foreign Service Institute at the US Department of State.

The news was announced by Zeneli himself through a post on social networks.

" I am happy to share that I am starting a new position as Course Coordinator (CTR) at the Foreign Service Institute of the US Department of State ," she writes.

She has a PhD from the University of Bari in International Political Economy and a Master's in International Marketing from the renowned Georgetown University in Washington. High school, Dr. Zeneli studied business administration at the University of Bologna, where he graduated with the highest grades. Zeneli also graduated from the Leadership Program at the Marshall Center as well as from the Executive Education program of the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. In Albania, she worked at the Ministry of Economy (during the Nano government period) and advisor to the former Prime Minister Nano (2003-2005).
