DP MP Klevis Balliu was involved in a heated debate with analyst Lorenc Vangjeli during a discussion about today's parliamentary session in the studio of the "Log." show on News24.
Balliu has opposed Vangjeli's statement, which claimed that in Albania there is a co-government between the elites of the DP and the majority, saying that his rhetoric is based on his dismissal from Parliament.
" I speak as I think, you speak when you are fired and when you are kept. When you were kept in a job, you stood up and said. Now you are angry with Niko for firing you. You have a good and a bad husband when he keeps you and fires you ," said Balliu, referring to the Speaker of Parliament Niko Peleshi.
Vangjeli responded by saying that he cannot be compared to Balli for many reasons in the work he does.
Excerpts from the debate:
Balliu: You are paid, sir. If you get the money, speak up.
Vangjeli: Of course I get paid for my work and I work hard. Do you know what our difference is? Sali Berisha hires you, absolutely nothing else. Your product is mediocre and very monotonous. I love the parliament and I know it very well.
Balliu: I don't come from the Spiropali school.
Vangjeli: It's such a common level...
