The Special Prosecutor's Office has seized property worth about 1 million euros of the former head of the Operational Forces, Oltion Bistri, arrested in the framework of the "Metamorfoza" operation.
Criminalistics expert Ervin Karamuço in an interview on "Tirana Live" on "ABC" talked about the financial investigation undertaken against Bistri, as he emphasized that the charges against him will be aggravated.
Another detail that Karamuço shared during this interview is the fact that Oltion Bistri illegally kept Taulant Balla under surveillance, an event that happened in 2018-2019. While he emphasized that the former head of the Bistri Operational Forces has caused strong clashes between politics and the State Police.
" Accusations are being added, and with the asset verification, the charge of concealing assets will be added. SPAK has undertaken an investigation by recovering two filters that have not worked from an institutional point of view, which are the high inspectorate of wealth declaration and the information directorate. No one has raised doubts about where this person got his income from, and the integrity of this person was never investigated.
This person illegally kept under observation the one who is today the Minister of the Interior of the Police, Taulant Balla. We are dealing with a subject with many shadows that has also cooperated with crime segments. Three people were at the table, Taulant Balla and another high official of the SP, pointed out a person who made observations. It has caused many problems at that time and clashes between politics and the State Police where his name has been mentioned on several occasions. This happens when people do not do the work of the State Police, but abuse their duty" , said Karamuço.
