The former Prosecutor of Serious Crimes, Eugen Beci, shed light on the situation in the Mujahideen camp and the clashes with the Albanian police after the latter's action in the camp.
In the show "Në Shënjestre", the former prosecutor emphasized that no agreement was signed with the mujahedin, clarifying that there was only a letter accepting the obligations.
Researcher Ledion Krisafi: Some of them had degrees in technology and many of them have experience. They know Iran very well and it is an organization prepared for attacks.
Former prosecutor Beci: Their mentality must be understood. Considering the danger of this organization, they were aware that they were dealing with a paramilitary organization. They agreed to hand over their weapons and were removed from the UN list. I think all the members were also prepared militarily. These definitely have the technological capabilities to carry out attacks. From Albania to Iran, how would the opposition do? It was known that they definitely did their opposition in electronic form, but I remember that when they arrived, the Albanian government undertook to buy them a tablet at their own expense, while the other expenses were covered.
The Albanian government says that there is an agreement, what can you tell us about this?
Eugen Beci: There is no agreement, I investigated for four years. In the legal sense, an agreement is when two parties sign. There is UNCR mediation under the convention. With these citizens there is only one letter, acceptance of obligations, so all members have signed a one-sided letter not to deal with politics.
The Minister of the Interior declared that they broke the agreement?
Eugen Beci: They made a declaration of acceptance of obligations. We have never seen an agreement, we have seen a statement.
Researcher Ledion Krisafi: This group seems to have lost the support of the USA. The US seems to have realized that the regime cannot be overthrown in this way.
