Former Prosecutor Besnik Muçi commented on the statements made the day before at the KPL by the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, who said that SPAK prosecutors have been threatened by organized crime.
Asked on "Quo Vadis" on "Vizion Plus" if he was threatened while in office, Muçi said that threats from organized crime only become serious when they have political support.
" I have worked in the Serious Crimes Prosecution Office and have worked on various issues. Without going into the answer to your question, I want to say that the fight against crime is the responsibility of the entire Albanian society. Prosecutors have undertaken to be all on the front line. I have my doubts about the coordination of structures in the fight against crime. In such cases, threats become serious when they take on a political nature. Organized crime will threaten, but the moment it creates links with politics, then it becomes dangerous ," he said.
