Tensions at the meeting of the Municipal Council of Tirana. After the protests and accusations outside the building, it seems that the position-opposition clashes have moved to the Assembly of the capital.
As soon as the meeting scheduled for today started, the adviser of the Freedom Party, Tedi Blushi, threw letters in the face of the mayor, Erion Veliaj.
But this incident has worsened. It is known that then the socialist member Halit Valteri intervened. At this moment, Blushi retaliated against Valter by punching him.
After this fierce debate, the head of the council requested the intervention of the municipal police. The meeting was called off after the incident and clashes.

Erion Veliaj also reacted to the event in "X". He writes that this act shows the desperation of the opposition, as he adds that Meta and his last rugaç cannot cope with the success of the municipality.
