Analyst Andi Bushati has called the Democratic Party's $6 million lobbying in the US "dirty," but added that even this dirty lobbying, even with dirty money, is worth it if the majority's lobbying to persecute the opposition is undone.
In an interview for the show "The Unexposed", Bushati said that this is a war between parties, even with dirty money, while he did not spare accusations and insults for former ambassador Yuri Kim, who, according to him, was used by Prime Minister Rama.
" I join those who do not believe this fable, that some people come out and say we will give 750 thousand euros to the DP and then we will pay 250 thousand euros every month. What are these parties that raise such large amounts of money? But the problem is, will we compare the DP and Sali Berisha with Redi, Arlindi and the Together Movement, or will we compare them with the opponent they face? The point that we disagree on is not Albania's problem, Berisha's problem, but I say that Berisha's problem is also Albania's problem. In a country where the government lobbies to declare the leader of the opposition persona non grata, there is a problem. Where the government pays McGonigal to say that the opposition is captured by the Russians. Now, in the face of this, how will they respond? I do not expect the DP and the LSI, the three famous gangs that Lubonja says, one to behave like a virgin and the others like bandits. This is the code of gangs.
The problem is that the bandits rose up and said, "Catch the thief." What the DP is doing is a counter-reaction to the damage that Rama and Rilindja have done. We have a problem with how much transparency we have about the money. Second, is it better or worse that dirty money is being paid to avoid leaving only Edi Rama's version in Washington? For 12 years, only Rama's version prevailed.
In Albania, the previous administration behaved like a worse gang than it behaved in Chile. Rama used this gang. Now we tell the DP not to use the other gang?
It's a party game, gang rivalry. If you put it in the public interest, is it worth it, even with dirty money, to stop precedents like that rascal who said they would eat grass if they were voted non-grata. We've seen rascal (Yuri Kim)... Even dirty lobbying is worth it to stop dirtier precedents than this. Here I think that every person who is not a party militant should be satisfied , "said Bushati.
