Lala says that Rexhepi joined the world of crime when he was accepted as a law student, where he committed the first two murders for hire.
" I did not find any photos of Dritan Rexhepi on the walls of the house, not even in the photo albums. Dritan's mother told me the whole story.
There was a boy who started living in Vlora, worked with his father, who had a sales business. Together with his sister Dritan Rexhepi, he competed to become a law student. At the time he was admitted to the university, he became involved in the world of crime and committed the first paid murder, two policemen in 1998 in Fushë Krujë. It was the first time that Rexhepi was arrested by the police.

He was arrested after many attempts near the Tirana hotel. He was sent to Durrës custody, interrogating Arben Frashëri, an exceptional police officer.
Dritan Rexhepi, at a moment when the prosecution and the police left the office, he took the files, the coat he had there and sold himself as a police officer and left without a trace from that moment and has been a shadow for the Albanian authorities.
