Expert Ervin Karamuço declared yesterday evening that former police chief Muhamet Rrumbullaku gave a statement to the officers of the National Bureau of Investigation, after the operation developed two months ago, in July, referred to as "Golden Bullet 2".
Because the "heads" and members of the criminal groups left the country in the last few days before the SPAK operation began, the prosecutor's office suspected a conspiracy and ordered the BKH to obtain the statement of the General Director of the State Police.
Ervin Karamuço said that the officers also seized the mobile phones of two senior police directors, to see who they had communicated with in the last few days, on the eve of the operation.
However, as he evidenced later during the "Top Story" show, when one of these exponents of the internationally wanted crime was captured in a neighboring country, he stated that he had received the information about the operation from within the BKH and not the police.
"At the end of July we had an operation "Golden Bullet 2" and some of these people became a big problem because they were not arrested. Some of them, two to three days before, left the country and there was no results. A major investigation was done by SPAK.
They even went to the office of the General Director of the State Police and received a statement from the BKH officers. They took the mobile phones of 2-3 senior leaders of the State Police to see who they communicated with.
But meanwhile what happened?! A person is arrested in a neighboring country, who was part of the international search after a few weeks, and he has stated that he did not receive the information from the Police, but received it from within BKH. And she is currently being investigated. There are allegations, but they must be investigated", said Criminology expert Ervin Karamuço.
