As you are aware yesterday, the defenders of Mr. Sali Berisha Av. Genci Gjokutaj and Av. Sokol Mëngjesi, after we were denied the fundamental right of a defense attorney in a process of familiarization with the acts of the file and the continuation of the trial by judge Irena Gjoka, while on our part the request was raised for exclusion from the trial with the consequence of the prohibition of decision-making on her part, precisely this the judge made the decision to appoint Av. Artan Simon!
This lawyer, due to his lack of professional ethical integrity, was expelled and clandestinely and at night, mainly Av. Rabije Cenalia and Av. Jalldyz Kastrati!
The two lawyers appointed by the state, mainly Jalldyz Kastrati and Rabije Cenalia, did not take over the defense even though they were blackmailed in the courtroom by SPAK prosecutors to revoke their license after they asked for 2 days to familiarize themselves with the acts and the court did not give them this time ! Then the GJKKO appointed the lawyer Valentina Teodoresku and announced the decision without reading a single page of the file, that is, without the lawyer being familiar with the file at all! The decision has allowed the continuation of security measures as they were taken! Meanwhile, earlier, that is, 2 hours ago, Judge Flora Hajredinaj rejected our request for the exclusion of Judge Irena Gjoka from the case filed today and drawn today!
