Drug use among young people, journalist: There are children who take the white

Journalist Andi Tela has spoken about the increase in drug consumption in our country, as shown by the last police operation, where more than 300 drug dealers were arrested. He showed details of how drugs, including cocaine, have entered the classrooms of 9-year-old schools, which makes the situation quite alarming.

"Professor Fuga started from the figure of 330 arrested in one night. Starting from this figure, the professor went to the end of the thesis of what is happening in Albania. That thesis stands even if these people were arrested in a few days, or in a few months. The police decided to do a campaign-type operation, they could have arrested them months ago.

What is the bottom line? All these, if you read material from the file, they were all distributors, the customer comes and sells the drugs. Meanwhile, the police had not followed the other chain, from the supplier to the distributor. They cannot go up there, but neither can they go to the other stairs and they are satisfied with this result.

This is a result, but this is where the discussion enters, if these 300 people exercise this activity and sell cocaine, it is a matter of people buying it or not, but the problem is distribution to children. This age 15-64, this 15 year old, hears stories of kids telling about their friends bringing the white stuff to class. This is where the envy of friends begins, the opportunity to find cocaine, makes you famous... The problem is, how long will we protect the children?

The figures are such that they should be taken with a grain of salt. The PIH has done this and asked people, which brings us to the number one country for cocaine users in the world. But if at the global level, the use of drugs in 2011 was 240 million people all over the world and went to 300 million, in Albania this figure has quadrupled. We have quadrupled the number of drug users.

The question is, how is this resolved?

It is easy to think that the police should catch and arrest the distributors, but it is the whole chain of society that has to deal with this issue. The world is not winning the war with drugs, but there are efforts at least that the age of the user is conscious of what he is doing. We have to block distribution in schools ," Tela told "The Unexposed."
