The court of Elbasan has announced the date of the session where the lecturers and the realtor arrested for corruption at "Aleksandër Xhuvani" University will be introduced to the security measure.
In a press release, the court informs that the hearing will take place on 05.11.2024 at 09:30.
"Regarding the event of 01.11.2024 of the University "Aleksandër Xhuvani" in the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Elbasan, criminal proceedings 1362/2024 were registered for the criminal offenses "Passive corruption of persons exercising public functions" committed in collaboration, provided by article 259/1 and 25 of the Criminal Code, "Abuse of duty", provided by article 248 of the Criminal Code.
The Court of First Instance of Elbasan General Jurisdiction scheduled the session for "Validation of arrest and setting of security measures" on 05.11.2024 at 09:30, says the Court's announcement.
We remind you that the lecturers of the University of Elbasan are accused of having received money to allow a student to pass the exams.

Zyhra Gripshi, Subject: Work with family and community.
Adrian Shingjergji, Subject: Motor education and movement games.
Beatriçe Gani, Subject: Learning through play.
Florinda Tarusha, Subject: Philosophy of education.
Monika Hodaj, Subject: Gender education in early childhood.
GH, Realtor
Edlira Gugu, lecturer in the subject: Children's literature, has been announced .
The teachers are accused of abusing their duties by irregularly passing the exams to a 31-year-old student, in order to benefit from sums of money that the realtor with the initials GH took
During the controls, it is reported that the theses of the student's exams were found and seized.
