Lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu has spoken about the clash between the Constitutional Court and the Supreme Court regarding the mandate of Holta Zaçaj.
He said that this crisis is the most unprecedented case in the history of Albania. Spahiu sees them as an attempt to replace the president of the Constitutional Court, Holta Zaçaj, and some other members.
"With all the debate going on. All of them actually have one thing in common, which in itself has a secondary will to replace the members of the GJK and the president. If the head of the GJK is changed and removed before the deadline, the same practice will be followed for the other 3: Toska, Beci, Bejtja. The chain effect goes on. Toska and Beci follow the same practice as Zaçaj. There is no question of a man or a 6-month mandate", said Spahiu for "Report TV".
The lawyer warns of a chain effect if this happens, stressing that the actions are politically motivated and linked to conjunctures within the species.

Spahiu emphasized the direct influence of the US on justice and called the attempt to remove Zacaj a political act that has legal scope to be challenged. Meanwhile, he also criticizes the extreme statements that have labeled the Constitutional Court as "Nazi" and sees this situation as a union of political interests.
