Investigative journalist, Artan Hoxha yesterday evening gave some details about the file against the former mayor of Kukës, Safet Gjici.
Hoxha said that he suspected that money might have been paid so that it would not go into circulation, but it came out and disrupted work, confusing the situation.
Hoxha also said that Gjici is in Albania, he has not fled abroad.
"They say he fled to Dubai, but Gjici has not crossed the border and is inside the territory of Albania," said the journalist.
The former mayor of Kukës resigned after the publication of the video scandal with 16 laughers, while the footage was filmed on 6 laughers inside his office.
It is suspected that the camera was placed in Alma Kaçi's bag.
After the video went viral, Safet Gjici declared that this was a trap and that he had been in an intimate relationship with Alma K. for some time, while he said that he was resigning from his post.
