The National Civil Protection Agency has announced that the weather is expected to worsen tomorrow.
In a post on social networks, it is reported that heavy rainfall is expected the next day, which may be accompanied by thunderstorms. Also, the AKMC appeals to the citizens to take measures as snowfall over 300 meters is expected in the mountainous areas, as well as frost.
The National Civil Protection Agency has appealed to local and central structures to be ready for any situation and to take measures for rainfall management.
"Based on reports from #IGJEO and #SHMU, tomorrow, Sunday, January 12, intense rain is expected, mainly in the counties of Vlorë, Gjirokastër, Dibër, Durrës, Tirana and Korçë, as well as snowfall in mountainous areas above 300 m.
Rainfall may be accompanied by storms and drops in temperatures, creating the possibility of frost and transportation difficulties.
The National Agency of Civil Protection asks the local and central structures to be ready for any situation and to take measures for rain management.
"Citizens are recommended to show increased caution in movement and follow official announcements" , announced AKMC.
