
The State Police has made significant changes in several police stations across the country, appointing and transferring several leaders to key levels of local structures.
It is learned that there have been changes in the city of Dibra, Tirana and Elbasan. There have also been changes in the Shkodra police stations and in the Serious Crimes Department of the Albanian Police.
Changes in the police ranks:
· Chief Commissioner Mariglen Duçi, currently Chief of Police in Malësia e Madhe (DVP Shkodër), is appointed Chief of Police in Dibër.
· Chief Commissioner Nertila Meta, until now a specialist in the Sector against Domestic Violence and the Protection of Minors in the Directorate for Major Crimes (DPPPSH), is appointed Chief of the Police Station in Librazhd (DVP Elbasan).
· Chief Commissioner Elton Halili, who headed the Librazhd Police Station, is transferred as chief of the police station in Bulqiza (DVP Dibër).
· Chief Commissioner Edvin Peci, currently Chief of Police in Bulqiza, is appointed Chief of Police at Police Station No. 6 in Tirana.
· Chief Commissioner Erdit Rrëçeku, who headed Police Station No. 6 in the capital, is appointed Head of the Major Crimes Sector at the Elbasan Police Department.
· Commissioner Klaudio Zhupa, who held the position of Chief of the Major Crimes Section at the Kavaja Police Station, is appointed Chief of the Police Station in Malësia e Madhe (DVP Shkodër).
· Chief Commissioner Altin Lila, acting as Chief of Police in Debar, is appointed as a specialist for the investigation of Crimes against the Person in the Directorate for the Investigation of Serious Crimes at the DPPSH.
These moves are part of the internal reorganization of the State Police with the aim of strengthening local leadership and increasing the efficiency of investigative structures in the territory.
