Like most citizens in the world, Albanian citizens are not indifferent to the conflict between Israel and Palestine. In the findings of the Barometer in 'Euronews Albania', it appears that Albanians are often informed about the situation in question.
40.2 percent of them are very worried about this conflict, while 54 percent fear its spread in our region.
Like almost every country, Albania or more precisely its citizens have different support for the parties in the conflict, but the Barometer notes that the tendency among Albanians is to support Palestine in this conflict.
Contrary to their perception of the support of the Albanian government, which citizens read as 28.2 for Israel and 19.7 for Palestine and 25.1 percent, both equally.
45 percent support Palestine, 9.2 percent the Israeli side, 34.1 percent both and 11.6 percent don't know, in the Data Centrum questionnaire.
The majority of supporters of Palestine as in other countries are the youngest at 51 percent and this support decreases in the older age groups with 42 percent in the 44 year olds.
Albanians are also clear about possible solutions to the conflict. According to them, 63.2 percent think that the solution is the creation of two independent states and 15.7 percent a common state where the parties can coexist.
