On the other hand, Rama has agreed to return the Albanian refugees to us, violating their rights. So the Netherlands, France, return them in 24 hours, without even making a request and they have agreed. It has done the same with Britain, even our prisoners there come here. In all cases, Albania is the only country, almost, that has accepted these conditions and favors that it has given to the great powers and Mr. Rama has asked for nothing in return, no investment, no additional aid, nothing at all, and my suspicion is that he is doing favors for European leaders to solve their problems, to make himself useful to them. Because we say how is it possible that Rama is on good terms with the world, that they are not critical of crime, corruption and money laundering in Albania.
My thesis is that by doing these favors to their internal politics, they turn a blind eye to how Mr. Rama governs and what happens in Albania.
Italy itself does not keep them there. It has a GDP of 2.2 trillion dollars a year, at 18.6 billion dollars, so it produces 116 times more than us. Italy has a population of 60 million, about 2.7, that is 22 times the Italian population. Italy has an area of 302 thousand square km, where you can find as many places as you want, while Albania has 28 thousand square km, so it is 11 times bigger than Italy. Not to mention the EU with almost half a billion population.
Albania has no experience for such operations. We ask Italy to give us helicopters to control our territory, we ask Italy and France police that we do not control the territory because we do not have the capacity.
Suddenly we will have the capacity to guarantee order for 36 thousand people who have not even come to Albania.
The choice made by Rama has nothing to do with humanity, nor with honor towards Italy, but a favor he does to the Italian prime minister, just as he did to the French prime minister, the British prime minister, and the American presidents. Solve their internal problems and get nothing back, but get their silence about how corruption and crime thrives in Albania ", said Sejamini.
