The former Minister of Justice, Ylli Manjani, spoke about Ilir Meta's appeal to SPAK, regarding the CEZ-DIA case.
In an interview for the show "Now" in Euronews Albania, he emphasized that if Meta is involved in this matter, he should be put in prison.
Among other things, he underlined that justice is being used for political judgments.
" We don't know the details about Meta who was called to SPAK. I understand that in Albania there are politicians, including Berisha, Meta, Edi Rama, who publicly need to be tried. This judgment did not come in the right way from the political means, and the whole public opinion is oriented that this judgment, which was made by the political means, is being sought to be made by the court. Justice is being used for political judgments. If Meta is responsible for CEZ-DIA, ok fine, put him in jail and let him go free. You can't create such a big event with one episode ," he said.
