A protester has made a public denunciation during the 16th protest taking place in front of the Prime Minister's Office, where she said that citizens participating in the rallies are facing intimidating phone calls and pressure not to protest.
From the podium located on "Deshmorët e Kombit" Boulevard, she declared that despite these efforts, the protesters will not retreat and will continue their resistance.
"We will not be stopped by the intimidating phone calls we receive every day, fear has long died, we will not give in. Down with the patronageists," she declared to the protesters.
Her statement was met with applause and calls of support from those present, while the protest continued with messages against the government and demands for political change.
Today's protest marks the 16th day of civic mobilization in Tirana. During recent rallies, various participants have articulated accusations of pressure and intimidation, while organizers have called for the protests to continue and maintain their peaceful character.
