The deputy of the Democratic Party, Luciano Boçi, described the measure taken against former prime minister Sali Berisha as a politically oriented decision, an argument that analyst Fitim Zekthi opposed.
In the "Opinion" studio, analyst Zekthi emphasized that SPAK should not take into account the political position of someone who is under investigation and that the Court's decision is irrefutable. On the other hand, Boçi, addressing Zekthi as a democrat-democrat, said that he should not speak in such a way about Berisha.
The debate between them:
Fitim Zekthi: I think that this language that SPAK is politicized is completely wrong, I think that the only achievement that a society can have on the face of the earth is that no one is above the law. If SPAK has not seen that Berisha is the chairman of the pulpit, he has done very well. SPAK should be blind to these things.
Luciano Boçi: Blind to the criminal event, not to people. Present exactly, who is the affair with Mr. Berisha.
Fitim Zekthi: Is it possible to let me speak, if you have come to produce a factory of words...
Luciano Boçi: First of all, I don't debate with you at all because you are part of the DP and you can't debate with me because I have clear political principles. The only opponent of mine and yours is Rama, not Berisha. You are a representative of the DP because you made it a ritual in every studio...
Fitim Zekthi: For the great God it does not suit you, it is unacceptable. Let me tell you that this is unworthy of you!
Luciano Boçi: Don't tell me how worthy I am!
Fitim Zekthi: So don't interrupt me! There is a minimal ethic that when someone speaks someone else listens. Let me tell you what I know. I don't have any names in my head, but no one should be above the law. On the day that the judge does not see the posts on that day, a civil society is created. This matter has nothing to do with Mr. Berisha, since 1991, people from Albania have been dragged to Albania and humiliated in prisons, and when the day comes...
Luciano Boçi: Yes, they cheat, man, you have to say this too...
Fitim Zekthi: The day this Prosecutor's Office was created and some people who were considered untouchable go to court, we say obobo. We cannot reject the Court's decision, theoretically unjust laws that concern conscience are rejected. It is unheard of to reject the decisions of the courts. Dozens of theologians say this, because then anyone would have the right to reject it and we would be in chaos. This is the first and it has nothing to do with Berisha. Luciano said I come from a family of democrats. Those who make this kind of defense do not love Berisha, they want to take advantage of the situation politically. If we come up with this kind of rhetoric, no one is punished. Neither PD nor the right is honored with this political language, when someone is called to be investigated. Albania does not need this hyperbolic language, Sali Berisha never needs it. I would like Sali Berisha to be judged fairly and to be acquitted.
