A few hours after the attack in Memaliaj, where three people were killed, residents of the area reacted. One of them stated that he knew the two innocent victims, the customer Marsel Çela and the waiter Gledian Muka.
" I know them for many good things. One worked there, while the other came to drink coffee there. Both are residents of the area. We are very shocked by this event. To kill three people is a great disaster ", said one of the residents of the area, reports "Euronews Albania".
Meanwhile, when asked about the previous events related to the Kalemi family, the citizen decided not to speak to the media, as he considered Saturday's assassination as the most serious event for the Memaliaj area.
The innocent victims, Marsel Çela, 47 years old and Gledian Muka, 36 years old, were found near the table where the victim Shyqyri Kalemi was, at the moment when the perpetrators opened fire on him and Adriatik Kalemi. The latter was injured and is currently undergoing rehabilitation at the Regional Hospital of Gjirokastra.
After the assassination, the perpetrators left in the direction of Mallakastra, where in the village of Bejaj they burned the car with which they committed the assassination.
