There are about 170 thousand Sky Ecc users in the world and 3 million SMS per day exchanged between users.
These figures based on Europol data were made public in the Debate with Alba Alishan by A2 CNN journalist Armand Bajrami. According to which the number of Albanian users of these applications is quite high, but not all their communication is in the hands of SPAK.
" According to Europol, globally there were 170 thousand users of Sky Ecc and 3 million SMS per day exchanged between users. The number of Albanian users is considerable, there is no exact official figure, but it is over 10 thousand, it is rumored up to 16 thousand. But not every communication of the Albanians is in the hands of SPAK ", he said.
He says that decoding the codes is difficult, but based on the sources he has from SPAK, he says that users and criminals have made mistakes with photos and personal data.
" SPAK is operating in this type of form in the files it has under investigation after identifying a certain code. Then, depending on the investigation, it is directed to the respective partners who own this data, requesting on a case-by-case basis through letter orders additional materials for certain codes. SPAK has an infinity of materials from ENCROCHAT and SKY ECC. Decoding is not an easy process except for communications in the Albanian language, but what I know from sources close to SPAK, luckily for the investigation people, the mistakes of SKY ECC users have been made by themselves. These were fortunate cases where they made mistakes of this nature, in other cases it might have been more difficult, but they aligned them with other characters ," he said.
