Azem Hajdari called me", Maks Haxhia talks about the dismissal as Chief

Former chief prosecutor Maksim Haxhia spoke in "Top Story" about his dismissal from the post in the Assembly several years ago.

He says that he was conscious of this decision, even though they disguised the reasoning they chose.

" To remember them, I remember them all as if I lived them today, despite the fact that many years have passed. But it was an outfit that made the justification for my dismissal in the Assembly. Although I remained in the Assembly knowingly to be dismissed, because ties had been severed, new attacks and positions had been established compared to what I was asked to assume.

I was dismissed for a fanaticism and a professional experience and principle to apply the law. I felt sorry and tried to put the Professional Prosecution on an independent track, but the old tradition worked and defeated me.

To be honest, there are many cracks. I even had an excellent relationship with the president of the time. I was a lecturer, I was not gentle with the communists and I was vice dean. He called me three times to become the Minister of Defense, but I, with that passion for justice, said I have a relationship with the Ministry of Defense and categorically refused. The late Azem Hajdari, being my student at the Faculty of Law, asked me to be the general prosecutor ", said Haxhia.
