When you come out a 24-karat "failure" in an election, you have no choice but to behave like Don Quixote of La Mancha and look for imaginary enemies.

The Journalists' Association of Albania has condemned the language used by Tedi Blushi in one of his press statements from the headquarters of the Freedom Party, to the media.

AGSH has called on Blushi and all politicians to stop their denigrating campaign against journalists and allow them to do their job, informing the public.

The Journalists' Association has specifically asked Blushi to stop using the terms "SPAK mercenaries" to journalists, to portray them for political purposes as enemies of the party he leads. However, when you come out as a 24-karat "failure" in the elections, you have no choice but to behave like Don Quixote of La Mancha and look for imaginary enemies.

The Journalists' Association of Albania condemns the language used by the Secretary General of the Freedom Party, Tedi Blushi, towards several journalists reporting on the activities of SPAK and specifically on the investigation against God. Ilir Meta.

We consider unacceptable the labeling of reporters as "SPAK mercenaries" and the creation of a narrative about the bias of colleagues as they exercise their right to inform the public about investigations against officials.
The Freedom Party and all those who exercise public roles must stop the denigrating campaign against journalists which aims to reduce the credibility of the facts reported by them.

"Mr. Blushi and anyone else is within his right to claim facts in public discourse, just as he is equally responsible for presenting facts to the public, and not propaganda, when targeting journalists.
AGSH calls on politicians in general, and Mr. Blushi in particular as a former journalist, to respect media workers and not tarnish them for clear political purposes ," the AGSH statement said.
