The sensational investigative operation at the headquarters of the company "Bankers Petroleum", which led to the arrest of the CEO, Hong Ping Xiao, is being followed with full attention by the Hydrocarbon Sector Union.
Its leader, Dritan Shahu, in a statement to the media, stated that the union is maximally committed to monitoring the consequences that these developments may have on the company's activity, on the rights of employees and on the stability of jobs.
Shahu also affirmed that the union will continue to protect the interests and safety of every employee, demanding full transparency from responsible institutions and company leaders.
He also focused on the large pay gap between oilfield workers and administrative levels, asserting that all efforts are continuing to ensure they receive the salary they deserve.
"We are determined to guarantee every financial and contractual commitment to employees," said Shahu, calling on employees to remain calm and only be informed from official sources.
