Tomorrow is expected to be the hottest day of this summer so far, with temperatures rising to 41 degrees C.
"Tomorrow we expect temperatures of 39-40 in many cities and 41 degrees only in the Berat district. The Vlora district will be a little cooler," says weather forecaster Lajda Porja.
The weekend will see temperatures of 39 degrees and the same temperatures will remain at the beginning of next week.
The heat wave that has hit most of Europe is expected to subside in our country for a few days, on Wednesday.
"We have a cooling off period from the middle of next week, from Wednesday, where we will be able to breathe for at least 3 or 4 days. The thermometer will drop to 34 or 35, but it will be short-lived," said Porja.
The month of July is predicted to be with high temperatures, which will remain so for several days in a row.
"July is predicted to be quite hot. We don't expect records to be broken, but there will be many days, 7 or 10 days with temperatures that fluctuate between 37-39," said the weather forecaster.
The summer with the highest temperature recorded in recent years is that of 2023, when the thermometer in July marked 43.6 degrees in Elbasan.
