The situation in Iran continues to spiral out of control. Protests against the regime are leading to an increasingly heavy death toll and arrests.
According to official figures reported by human rights sources, more than 500 people have been killed, while around 10,000 others have been arrested during the ongoing protests.
However, unofficial sources suggest that the real number of victims could be much higher, up to around 2,000 killed since the start of the violent conflict.
