Tensions in front of the Parliament building continue even during the plenary session, where protesters have remained positioned in front of the Parliament, repeating the calls: "Parliament of crime, hand over the mandates."

This Thursday's protest has been accompanied by incidents since the early hours of the morning. Earlier, protesters clashed with police forces, part of the metal fence installed for the security of Parliament was removed, while officers used irritating spray to disperse the crowd. During the tensions, several protesters were separated and a police officer was also injured, hit in the head with a stone.

Despite the clashes, the protest has continued with calls against the government and the political class.

During the rally, a protester called on citizens from all over Albania to join the protest, while also addressing pensioners, referring to the bonus announced by the government.

"I call on pensioners not to fall prey to the 50 thousand old lek that he said he would give them. I call on all Albanians to join us, to drag this criminal away. Edi Rama, Balluk, Taulant Balla, the entire parliament to be held accountable. To come out here if they have not put their hands in the people's pockets," said the protester.

The protesters have declared that they will continue the rally even during the plenary session, while numerous police forces remain present in the area around the Parliament and security measures continue to be increased.
