Journalist Fatos Mahmutaj on ABC News' "Last Edition" commented on the closing rally of the Democratic Party's electoral campaign, yesterday Friday (May 9) in Tirana.
Initially, the journalist focused on the claims about Berisha's removal of the women's name, saying that in his closing speech at the rally, LaCivita did not mention the issue of the women's name at all.
"Berisha started to believe the lies himself. In his speech at the closing rally, LaCivita did not mention women at all. Berisha has closed the political cycle. Americans do not need a corrupt man like Berisha," he said.
He also focused on another statement by Lacivita, who called Berisha, prime minister of January 21, the man who saved lives.
Journalist Fatos Mahmutaj said that on this last day of the electoral campaign, such statements are expected.
"It was the last day of the election campaign and there is no limit to the speeches," he said.
He further emphasized that Albanians in the May 11 elections have no better alternative than the Socialist Party.
