Former Deputy Minister of Finance, Irena Beqiraj, has reacted after Prime Minister Rama's statement, who the night before, in a television show, described the Socialist Party as a "brothel".
In a Facebook post, Beqiraj said that this statement is indicative of a deep crisis within the Socialist Party. She emphasizes that after this, the socialists must understand that the party needs to be rebuilt from scratch.
Beqiraj also mentions a quote by Marcus Aurelius: “Elections are a matter of character.” She adds that the character of the leader who is elected determines the character of those who elect him.
"After this statement, socialists must understand that the Socialist Party must be rebuilt from scratch! 'Elections are a matter of character,' said Marcus Aurelius. Through the character of the leader we elect, the character of those who elect him is determined!", writes Beqiraj.
